Out of all the major tournaments I have played in the 4 Regional Championships I attended stand out as the most important and memorable. Follow me down memory lane as I revisit those tournaments and the 4 most important lessons in my 13 years of Magic.

I've always been content to play Magic semi-competitively. I only play locally and never play PTQs, and I rarely travel to tournaments (I had to be talked into going to GP Toronto). However, I've always wanted to play in Canadian Nationals.

Congratulations to all the Top 8 finishers in this year's Provincial Championships. Here are their decklists (including a whopping 11 different Champions of Kamigawa cards!).

Once we arrived and paid our entry fee to The Great Canadian BayCon we found ourselves playing Texas Hold-em for crap rares and foils. I ended up losing horribly at the start.
|
|
So Regionals has now come and gone for yet another year and you would think everyone had a good time on Saturday. This, I suspect, is not the case. Or if it is, everyone has a different way of showing it.
